Emily still asks me daily "Mom can we make an apple pie with crunchies!!!" (You know the sweet little dessert what you do with the left over dough, Angela!!! another wonderful memory with friends)
"Yummy for my tummy" she says. It was quite a fun undertaking since emily will never let me do anything in the kitchen without her help. Dishes, cooking, baking... she loves to do them all with me and I love that time with her.
We took pictures of the undertaking and the little friendships that developed over the years.

Yes! Crust Crunchies! Ooooo, we got soooo sick. If I remember right, we thought they went well with sweethearts, but found out they didn't a few hours after we ate them all. I love that memory! =^) Can't WAIT to see you...

Thanks, Christel! I needed that post today. I have a lot of good days but have had some really hard days. Life is really challenging and I have to learn new ways to do everything. Laundry, cooking, parenting, everything. I will blog more when I get internet at home. I loved that pie and the reminder you will have of me when you make one.
